Scouts Appeal is run by Redeem plc, an award winning firm started in 1999.

When Redeem realised that most used mobile phones and printer cartridges were being thrown in the bin we created Recycling Appeal, a socially conscious collections programme that would help us influence customer behaviour while benefiting worthy causes.

Through Scouts Appeal, Recycool (our schools programme) and Recycling Appeal Redeem has helped various organisations raise more than £2 million for good causes. Our new program Money 4 UR Mobile allows people to be paid cash for their old mobile phones.

Redeem is based in Falkirk, in the central belt of Scotland. Our headquarter facilities have been approved as an Investors in People workplace, with a management system which has been certified to meet the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 and ISO:14001:2004. These certifications demonstrate our commitment to operating with environmental responsibility, whilst offering a quality service to our customers and peace of mind for our partner organisations.
